Team Lesson
Defense is a choice. Players learn that scoring is exciting, but defense shows heart, discipline, and commitment to the team. This week teaches players how to take pride in staying in front, helping teammates, boxing out, and finishing possessions with rebounds.
At-Home Assignment
Practice defensive slides for 3 sets of 20 seconds. Then explain to a parent or teammate why defense matters.
