Media Release & Photo Policy
Purpose
Rise Basketball Academy celebrates player growth, team achievements, and academy experiences through photography, video, and digital media.
Media Collection
Coaches, volunteers, staff, approved photographers, or media partners may capture photos and videos during practices, games, camps, clinics, tournaments, and events.
How Media May Be Used
Media may be used on the academy website, team pages, parent communications, social media, marketing materials, sponsorship presentations, printed materials, and highlight videos.
Information We Share
When media is published, we make reasonable efforts to limit personal information. We may share first name, last initial, team name, age division, or accomplishments.
Information We Do Not Share
We do not knowingly publish home addresses, personal phone numbers, personal email addresses, school locations, or sensitive personal information.
Opt-Out Requests
Parents who do not want their child included in promotional media may submit a written request. We will make reasonable efforts to honor requests, but cannot guarantee removal from crowd shots or public event footage.

Parent & Player Code of Conduct
Our Standard
Rise Basketball Academy exists to develop athletes, character, confidence, leadership, and a lifelong love for the game. Winning matters. Development matters more.
Players Will
Players are expected to show respect, practice good sportsmanship, give maximum effort, be coachable, and represent the academy with character on the court, online, and in the community.
Parents Will
Parents are expected to support all players, respect coaches, respect officials, promote development, and maintain positive sideline behavior.
Communication Expectations
Parents are encouraged to address concerns respectfully, allow a cooling-off period after games, schedule private conversations when needed, and avoid public confrontations.
Social Media Expectations
Players and parents should avoid bullying, harassment, inappropriate comments, or public criticism of teammates, coaches, officials, or the academy.
Violations
Failure to follow this Code of Conduct may result in a warning, parent meeting, temporary suspension, or removal from academy programs depending on severity and frequency.
